Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at LawVu, you will play a pivotal part in accelerating legal workflows by designing and developing AI-enhanced platform features. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to bring creative solutions to the legal operations sector. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this position demands hands-on full-stack development capability, architectural insight, and active mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate extensively with stakeholders to innovate and implement product functionalities.
• Manage complete software development lifecycle for AI-driven and platform capabilities from concept to deployment and maintenance.
• Design system architecture balancing scalability and cost efficiency.
• Develop a comprehensive integration ecosystem and support the developer platform.
• Enforce stringent security standards and AI governance within a multi-tenant environment to uphold data integrity and compliance.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineering team members.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in software engineering and artificial intelligence.

Required Competencies and Qualities

Technical Skills

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in full-stack software engineering roles.
• Expertise in C# with .NET Framework and .NET Core development.
• Proficiency in Angular and REST API design and implementation.
• Experience integrating and consuming third-party APIs reliably.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure PaaS and Web App Services.
• Familiarity with version control using Git and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Understanding of quality assurance processes and contributions.
• Agile development environment experience.
• Comfort engaging directly with customers.
