About the internship
Overview
This internship offers hands-on experience in video editing and content creation for digital marketing purposes. You will work remotely, contributing to projects for Baweja Media, its founder Sannidhya Baweja, and various clients by transforming raw video footage into engaging marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished reels, YouTube videos, advertisements, and brand content.
- Utilize pacing techniques, transition effects, hooks, and storytelling methods to enhance viewer retention and engagement.
- Integrate motion graphics, sound design, musical elements, and special effects to elevate final video productions.
- Perform color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with the creative team on concept development, scripting, and storyboarding.
- Ensure all final videos adhere to brand standards and meet project goals.
- Maintain an organized and accessible asset library.
- Stay updated on emerging editing trends, software capabilities, and industry best practices.
Candidate Requirements
- Applicants must have an existing portfolio showcasing 5–10 completed video projects.
- Must hold at least a graduate or postgraduate degree; current students in early coursework are not eligible.
- Strong mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is essential.
- Understanding of video pacing, transitions, hooks, and visual storytelling is required.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and color correction is highly advantageous.
- Applicants should not be engaged in active freelancing as full dedication to this internship is expected.
- Must possess a personal laptop with a robust processor (ideally 16GB RAM or more) and dependable internet connectivity.
