Internship Overview

This internship offers the opportunity to work remotely with Chandra Times, an online news portal managed by founder/editor Shiv Chandra Jha. The portal covers diverse news sectors such as politics and sports and is in the process of launching its e-paper section. The position is based from Indore but allows complete work-from-home flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and upload news articles to the website and various social media platforms.
• Edit video content tailored for the portal, YouTube, and social media channels.
• Create simple yet effective headlines, summaries, and appropriate tagging for news posts.
• Support SEO strategies to improve visibility for news articles and video content.
• Integrate images, videos, and formatting elements to enhance content presentation.
• Ensure that all news content is original, accurate, and posted punctually.
• Collaborate remotely with reporters, editors, and the digital team to streamline content delivery.
• Track trending news topics to propose new ideas for content generation.
• Adhere to ethical standards and journalism guidelines in all published materials.
• Perform timely corrections and updates on existing news as necessary.

Candidate Eligibility

• Applicants must be comfortable with remote work arrangements for the entirety of the internship.
• Availability to start between 23rd September 2026 and 28th October 2026 is required.
• Commitment to a 3-month internship duration is expected.
• Possess an interest and relevant skills related to digital content creation and video editing.

Compensation and Benefits

• A monthly stipend ranging from ₹1000 to ₹1001 is provided.
• Interns will receive a certificate and letter of recommendation upon completion.
• Flexible working hours with a 5-day workweek schedule.
