Internship Role Summary

This internship is for the role of UI/UX Designer within our product design team, operating full-time onsite in Hyderabad. The position offers a 6-month tenure starting immediately upon confirmation, with a monthly stipend between ₹10,000 and ₹12,000. The internship is designed to provide hands-on experience crafting user-centered designs targeting web and mobile platforms, using cutting-edge design and AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design detailed user experiences including user flows, wireframes, user interfaces, and interactive prototypes predominantly with Figma.
• Collaborate across teams—product managers, engineers, and business units—to understand user needs, workflows, and objectives, transforming these insights into effective design solutions.
• Integrate AI-powered technologies to assist in research, ideation, design exploration, content organization, and automation of routine tasks, all while applying sound design judgment.
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility, responsiveness, and accurate implementation, confidently presenting design rationale.
• Conduct usability testing and feedback collection to identify user experience challenges and iteratively refine the product design.
• Contribute to and uphold design systems, reusable components, UI patterns, and guidelines to maintain consistent design quality.
• Support UX research activities including competitor analysis and usability evaluations to inform design decisions.
• Balance product thinking by aligning user needs, business strategies, and technical feasibility to produce scalable, effective designs.

Candidate Profile

• Basic understanding of user-centered design principles, including visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, layout, usability, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, essential for requirements gathering, design explanation, confident presentation, and effective cross-team collaboration.
• A proactive problem-solving attitude with curiosity and the ability to dismantle complex challenges into straightforward design solutions.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma, capable of generating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual representations.
• Eagerness to learn and experiment with artificial intelligence tools and emerging technologies to enhance design efficiency and creativity.
• Ability to independently test new design methods, experiment with tools, accept constructive feedback, troubleshoot issues, and pursue self-directed learning using documentation and AI assistance.
• Proven capacity for working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and incorporating continuous feedback into work.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Exposure to UX research, usability testing methodologies, and customer journey mapping.
• Understanding of design systems and creating responsive interfaces compatible with desktop and mobile platforms.
• Experience with AI-assisted design tools such as ChatGPT or Figma AI for ideation and design exploration.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to understand web interface development.
• A portfolio showcasing academic, personal, freelance, or internship design projects illustrating UI/UX workflow and final deliverables.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be available for a full-time in-office internship in Hyderabad, able to commence between 7th September 2026 and 12th October 2026, commit to the 6-month duration, and possess relevant skills and keen interest in UI/UX design.

Additional Details and Benefits

The internship offers a certificate of completion and follows a five-day workweek schedule, Monday through Friday. Initial months are unpaid, but a stipend may be granted after 2-3 months contingent on performance. High-performing interns might be considered for full-time roles aligned with business needs.
