About the Internship
Optima Learn is seeking a passionate UI/UX Design Intern to join our product design team located in Noida. Our company develops AI-driven agents that tailor competitive exam preparation uniquely for students across India, initially focusing on MBA entrance exams and eventually expanding into lifelong career learning support. This internship offers hands-on experience designing user-friendly, visually consistent interfaces for both web and mobile platforms, using tools such as Figma with an emphasis on reusable components and Auto Layout.
Key Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications in collaboration with product and design teams.
- Create, maintain, and utilize reusable components in Figma to ensure design consistency.
- Leverage Auto Layout features to develop adaptable and responsive UI designs.
- Apply core UI/UX design principles including typography, spacing, color theory, alignment, and visual hierarchy.
- Work closely with developers and designers to understand requirements and incorporate feedback effectively.
- Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to support product development.
- Follow established design systems and guidelines to maintain uniformity across the platform.
- Engage in design reviews and iterate on designs based on constructive feedback.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Figma and its fundamental features.
- Knowledge and practical skills in using Auto Layout effectively within Figma.
- Ability to build and utilize reusable components in design projects.
- Basic understanding of fundamental UI/UX design concepts.
- Familiarity with design elements such as typography, spacing, alignment, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn and improve.
- A portfolio or examples of academic or personal design projects to demonstrate relevant skills is considered advantageous.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of Figma Variables and comprehensive design systems.
- Basic knowledge of responsive design practices for both mobile and web platforms.
- Experience or familiarity with prototyping and mapping user flows.
- Interest in AI-enabled tools and modern digital product design techniques.
