About the internship
About the Internship
This internship involves actively engaging with local laundry and dry-cleaning businesses to promote Pressmate's innovative Laundry Business Automation Platform. Interns will perform store visits, interact directly with business owners to understand their current processes and challenges, and build meaningful relationships to identify opportunities for automation.
Interns will also conduct demonstrations of the SaaS platform, clarifying how it streamlines daily operations such as order management, billing, customer relations, logistics, and payments. Following up with interested business owners to support sales is a key responsibility.
Gathering valuable customer feedback and market data to relay insights to the team will support strategic improvements and growth. Accurate records of visits, prospects, and follow-ups will be maintained throughout the internship.
Responsibilities
- Conduct visits at local laundry and dry-cleaning stores to source potential clients.
- Analyze business workflows and challenges through discussion with owners.
- Develop rapport with owners to discover automation needs.
- Perform product demonstrations showcasing platform's automation capabilities.
- Clarify platform benefits and respond to basic inquiries.
- Support the sales cycle through consistent follow-ups.
- Collect and report customer feedback and market intelligence.
- Document all store interactions and sales activities methodically.

- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Confidence in engaging and conversing with business owners.
- Willingness and ability to travel locally within Gurgaon for store visits.
- Interest in technology, SaaS solutions, sales processes, and startups.
- Possession of a personal bike and laptop.
