About the internship
About the Internship
The internship involves developing and sustaining custom integrations and components for Home Assistant using Python, adhering to the platform's architectural guidelines and coding standards. The role also includes creating unit and integration tests, reviewing peers' code, and submitting pull requests aimed at enhancing software reliability and expanding feature coverage. Additionally, the intern will tackle debugging challenges, study Home Assistant core documentation, and work collaboratively with the team to add support for new devices and automation functionalities.
Candidate Eligibility
- Applicants must be able to work remotely from home.
- Must be available to work from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Indian Standard Time, aligning with the company's operating hours.
- Should be able to start between October 2, 2026, and November 6, 2026.
