About the internship
Internship Overview
This internship provides hands-on experience in managing and analyzing portfolios comprising currencies, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. Interns will support efforts in portfolio tracking, market research, strategy development, and performance evaluation under the guidance of trading mentors.
Daily Responsibilities
- Assist in tracking portfolio performance across forex, commodities like gold and oil, and crypto assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
- Conduct research on market trends, economic indicators, and price movements to enhance portfolio decision-making.
- Engage in the design, testing, and documentation of trading strategies involving multiple asset classes.
- Monitor live market fluctuations and aid in generating viable trading ideas.
- Support risk management activities including position sizing and portfolio rebalancing.
- Maintain dashboards, summary reports, and performance logs for ongoing portfolio analysis.
- Work alongside experienced trading mentors during live sessions and performance reviews.
Candidate Eligibility
Applicants must be available to work remotely, able to start between August 30 and October 4, 2026, and available for a two-month term. Both freshers and experienced candidates with relevant finance-related skills and interests are welcome.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Enrollment in or completion of degrees in finance, economics, BBA/MBA with finance focus, quantitative disciplines, or closely related fields.
- A keen interest in macro trading, cryptocurrency investment, and global financial markets.
- Fundamental knowledge of portfolio management, asset allocation principles, and familiarity with trading platforms.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and trading tools like TradingView, Binance, or MetaTrader.
- Strong analytical mindset, discipline, and comfort working with data.
- Curiosity or exposure to volatile markets, particularly cryptocurrencies and commodities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend of ₹5,000.
