This remote volunteering opportunity involves active participation in social welfare projects designed to impact underprivileged communities positively. Interns will engage in planning and executing social awareness drives, visiting governmental schools, orphanages, and old-age homes to conduct meaningful activities, and contributing to various ongoing initiatives of the foundation. About the Organization
Devasya Welfare Foundation, established in June 2021 by Vijay Chauhan and Vidhi Baria, is a youth-driven NGO recognized under Section 8 of the Government of India and registered for 80G tax-exempt donations. The foundation envisions a happier and healthier society, focusing on uplifting underprivileged children and communities through various initiatives such as menstrual hygiene awareness (Project Rohini), birthday celebrations, free medical camps, education drives, skill-building workshops, and food distribution. Currently operating in Vadodara, Surat, and Ahmedabad, the foundation also offers pan-India online volunteering opportunities and aims to expand its reach to more cities.
Compensation and Perks
- Monthly stipend ranging from ₹4,000 to ₹10,000, comprising a fixed pay component of ₹2,500 to ₹8,000 and an incentive pay ranging between ₹1,500 to ₹2,000.
