This internship presents a valuable opportunity to develop practical skills in supply chain operations within Sargam Ventures Private Limited, a company specializing in distributing consumer electronics brands like Xiaomi, Bluestar, and DJI throughout Assam and the North-East region. As a Logistics and Operations intern, you will play an essential role in overseeing and facilitating smooth logistics and operations processes internally.
Primary Responsibilities
- Use Microsoft Excel extensively for monitoring and analyzing inventory, shipment timelines, and logistics data.
- Assist coordination efforts involving suppliers, transport vendors, and internal departments to ensure products reach destinations promptly.
- Contribute to enhancing warehouse functionality and improve operational workflows for increased efficiency.
- Keep precise records of orders, inventory status, and shipment details to support seamless processes.
- Work alongside various teams to troubleshoot logistics challenges and help maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Effectively communicate with both internal teams and external stakeholders, providing regular logistics status updates.
- Identify potential areas within logistics for cost reduction and process enhancement.
Candidate Eligibility
Applicants must be available to work full-time on-site during the internship period, starting between September 14 and October 31, 2026, continuing for a total duration of three months. Applicants should be located in Guwahati and possess skills relevant to logistics and operations management.
Compensation and Benefits
The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 12,000, split evenly between a fixed and an incentive pay component. Additional benefits include a certificate of completion, letter of recommendation, and flexibility with informal dress code.
