About the internship
Internship Overview
This internship offers an opportunity to engage with investment banking activities focused on small to medium businesses and startups. Interns will gain hands-on exposure by interacting with potential buyers, conducting background evaluations, verifying AI-generated data, and supporting industry research and reporting tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Communicate with buy-side leads through emails, calls, and CRM to assess their investment intentions, preferred sectors, and financial standings.
- Perform preliminary background verification by reviewing buyer profiles, past transaction histories, and online presence to identify any concerns.
- Maintain detailed and precise records of buyer interactions, including notes and status updates within the internal tracking system.
- Validate and cross-check the accuracy and completeness of information derived from AI tools before utilization.
- Conduct market research on industries and sectors, focusing on market size, trends, and driving factors.
- Prepare competitive landscape summaries highlighting main competitors, business strategies, and market positioning.
- Support the team in drafting internal documents such as reports, teasers, and insights relevant to mergers, acquisitions, and fundraising.
- Collaborate with senior team members to enhance the quality of data, buyer qualification processes, and overall workflow efficiency.
