About the Internship
The Affordable Organic Store is offering an opportunity for an internship as a Full Stack AI Engineer focused on AI Agents. The role involves contributing to production-ready AI agents by designing conversational workflows, developing multi-turn dialogues, and building tools around Large Language Models (LLMs) including function calling and structured output generation.
As an intern, you will also create backend APIs, integrate systems, and develop frontend and internal engineering tools. Managing conversation states and context, constructing retrieval systems, and handling SQL databases, caching, and queues are essential parts of the role. You will be responsible for developing workflows that enable seamless human handover and escalation mechanisms.
In addition, you will design AI evaluation methods including automated regression testing and build safeguards to prevent hallucinations or unsafe AI behavior. Emphasis will also be on improving AI latency, reliability, and inference cost efficiency. The role includes building comprehensive logging, tracing, and observability frameworks for AI decisions. Secure handling of authentication, authorization, and sensitive customer information is critical. You will contribute to system architecture planning to support growing traffic and conversation volumes.
