Internship Overview
Bigharvest Technologies Private Limited, an agribusiness consultancy focused on empowering Farmer Producer Organizations (FPO) under the Government of India's promotion scheme, offers an internship that supports FPOs across 8 states and collaborates with over 50,000 farmers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in ensuring effective functioning of FPOs following the guidelines established for producer companies.
- Design and develop comprehensive business development plans and strategic roadmaps tailored for FPOs.
- Mobilize essential resources for the Producer Company and oversee their effective implementation.
- Drive efforts to enhance both the business turnover (top-line) and net profit (bottom-line) of the company.
- Support and strengthen the operations of FPOs in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Establish productive linkages with key stakeholders such as NCDC, NAFED, NABARD, and SFAC to enhance the FPO ecosystem.
- Set up and manage systems for procuring and distributing inputs, aggregating outputs, and delivering training to farmers on initial processing techniques like grading, sorting, and packaging.
- Ensure timely collection of program data and upkeep of Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Prepare detailed reports on the CBBO Project on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis.
- Maintain all project-related documentation meticulously.
