About the internship
About the Internship
As a copywriting intern at CometChat, you will be responsible for revamping and creating compelling written content across multiple platforms to support the company's marketing and product communication efforts. You will work on rewriting existing website and landing page copy, crafting headlines, subheadings, button texts, email subject lines, and microcopy within the product.
Your role will involve managing pre-funnel content that fosters awareness, overseeing the written social media calendar, composing engaging posts, threads, captions, and refining social copy created by others. You will adapt key source content into formats suitable for web pages, emails, social media, and sales materials.
Additionally, you will participate in editing and proofreading contributions from fellow writers and team members, maintain and update the style guide and terminology list, verify claims for accuracy against product documentation before publication, and track revisions with analytical reporting on outcomes.
Candidate Profile
- Commitment to a full-time in-office internship for six months.

- Consistent personal writing experience such as blogs, newsletters, or other publications.

- Proficient in leveraging AI tools for drafting and research purposes but discerning about AI-generated content.
Additional Details
The internship is based in Mumbai, India, offering a stipend ranging from INR 15,000 to 20,000 per month with a flexible five-day workweek schedule and informal dress code.
