This internship focuses on creating clear, precise technical documentation to ensure users following instructions encounter no confusion. The role is critical as developers rely on accurate documentation or AI that accesses it to succeed, making documentation the pivot between project success and failure. Unlike editing existing drafts, the intern will replicate instructions on a clean system, identify failure points, and amend them meticulously. This repetitive yet straightforward task demands honesty—documentation either works flawlessly or it doesn't, and results speak for themselves.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute quickstart tutorials and integration instructions in a fresh environment, identifying any problems encountered.
• Revise failed instruction steps and include any missing setup prerequisites.
• Refresh code examples to align with the latest SDK releases.
• Create comprehensive guides for features currently lacking documentation.
• Develop in-depth content such as tutorials, integration walkthroughs, migration instructions, and comparative analyses to drive user engagement and action.
• Correct broken links, update outdated screenshots, and fix incorrect metadata on documentation pages.
• Collaborate with engineers to gather precise technical information.
• Track recurring documentation issues and report them appropriately to relevant teams.

Candidate Eligibility

Applicants must be available for a full-time onsite internship, beginning between October 16, 2026, and November 20, 2026, committing to a six-month duration. Candidates should demonstrate relevant skills and a keen interest in technical content creation.

Required Skills and Additional Criteria

• Ability to read and interpret code snippets, identifying discrepancies between code and accompanying text.
• Comfortable using command-line interfaces, package managers, and code editors.
• Highly detail-oriented with an aversion to inconsistent terminology.
• Proactive in asking clarifying questions to address potential user confusion.
• Committed to completing documentation accurately; half-finished guides are unacceptable.
• Experience developing projects using SDKs or APIs, regardless of scale.
• Previous contributions to open source documentation, including minor corrections.
• Familiarity with MCP (or willingness to understand it prior to interview).
• Possess informed opinions on documentation platforms and the rationale behind those views.

Additional Information

Stipend: INR 15,000 - 20,000 per month

Duration: 6 months

Work Schedule: 5 days per week with flexible working hours
