Internship Overview
This internship offers hands-on experience in artificial intelligence projects. Interns will engage in data handling, research, AI model building, evaluation, and deployment support under expert guidance, enhancing their technical knowledge and practical skills over a two-month period.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather datasets from internal databases, APIs, and publicly available sources.
- Preprocess data by cleaning, normalizing, and managing missing or aberrant values and categorical variables.
- Analyze data to uncover trends and insights relevant to AI projects.
- Review scientific literature related to AI methodologies applicable to assigned tasks.
- Identify business challenges and formulate corresponding AI-driven solutions.
- Assist in the construction and training of AI, machine learning, and deep learning models utilizing frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
- Experiment with diverse algorithms including neural networks, natural language processing models, computer vision, and reinforcement learning techniques.
- Train AI models and fine-tune hyperparameters to maximize accuracy and performance.
- Evaluate models through validation and testing sets using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, ROC-AUC, and mean squared error.
- Conduct comparative analysis among different models to select the optimal one.
- Support the deployment of AI solutions including chatbots, predictive analytics, and recommendation systems.
- Monitor deployed models and propose enhancements.
- Maintain thorough documentation on deployment procedures and model operations for team use.
Qualifications and Eligibility
Applicants must be able to commit part-time availability starting between September 19, 2026, and October 24, 2026, for a period of two months. Eligible candidates reside in one of the following locations: Chennai, Coimbatore, Erode, Khammam, Kurnool, Madurai, Tirupati, Visakhapatnam, Thanjavur, Hyderabad, Tiruchirappalli, Kakinada, Salem, or Vellore. Candidates should have foundational knowledge and interest in AI and related technologies. Women seeking to initiate or re-enter their careers are especially encouraged to apply.
Additional Details
The internship provides flexible working hours to accommodate the part-time schedule. Interns will receive a certificate upon completion and potentially a letter of recommendation. The monthly stipend ranges from INR 3,000 to INR 20,000 depending on performance and contribution. The program is designed for remote onsite participation across multiple cities in India. There are 100 openings available. Immediate joining is possible upon selection.
