About the internship
About the Internship
This internship offers hands-on experience in developing both frontend and backend components for various web applications such as REM Workers, REM Learners, REM Interns, REM Platforms, and Stores of India. Interns will engage in integrating large language model (LLM) APIs like OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini into product functionalities, building and testing AI chatbots for customer support, FAQs, and lead generation, and assisting in the development of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using embeddings and vector databases.
Additional responsibilities include crafting and refining prompts to enhance AI interactions, developing RESTful APIs and connecting these to frontend applications, debugging, testing, documenting code, and researching emerging AI tools and frameworks to share insights with the team.

Skills and Experience Required
- Basic proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, or Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
- Familiarity with LLM APIs and prompt engineering techniques.
- Demonstrated experience of at least one project involving React, Node.js, Python, or AI APIs (college projects are acceptable).
- Ability to commit to a six-day workweek schedule.

Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranging from INR 14,000 to 19,000, comprising a fixed component of INR 12,000 to 15,000 plus incentives of INR 2,000 to 4,000.
