Join an innovative aerospace startup based in Bangalore specializing in next-generation UAV development for logistics and aerial surveillance. The primary task is to reconstruct an existing detailed Blender subdivision model of a fixed-wing cargo UAV fuselage into clean, efficient NURBS surfaces using Rhino. This process aims to facilitate composite mold making and future design iterations.
This opportunity focuses on precision surface reconstruction, emphasizing refined geometry and manufacturability rather than original concept creation.
Daily Responsibilities
- Rebuild the main fuselage cargo section with smoothly radiused corners flowing into tapered nose and tail sections.
- Generate nose and tail closures that are continuous, without poles or flawed surfaces.
- Design wing-to-fuselage and boom-to-fuselage fairings with high-quality, seamless surface transitions.
- Establish trim lines for multiple hatches and access panels.
- Create mold split lines adhering strictly to company specifications.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be mechanical engineering students.
- Available to work from home for a continuous 3-month period.
- Ready to start between October 12, 2026, and November 16, 2026.
- Possess relevant skills and interests related to 3D surface modeling.
Additional Requirements
- Demonstrated prior experience in Rhino 3D surface modeling is mandatory.
Stipend and Benefits
The internship offers a monthly stipend ranging between INR 30,000 and INR 50,000. Successful interns may receive a job offer upon completion.
