Job Overview
Sundus is seeking an experienced Shift Brick Layer for a government client located in Abu Dhabi. This onsite position requires a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working as a brick layer or mason within a steel plant environment. The role focuses on the lining of key vessel components including ladles, electric arc furnaces (EAF), and tundishes to support steel manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute assigned tasks delegated by the supervisor aligned with production schedules.
- Ensure all necessary machinery, tools, and consumable materials for refractory work are adequately available and maintained.
- Diligently apply lining to hot application vessels following specified work instructions and guidance provided by supervisors.
- Promptly communicate any abnormalities or concerns noticed during the refractory lining process to supervisors seeking appropriate directions.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 3 years of practical experience as a brick layer/mason in a steel plant setting.
- Educational qualification of Higher Secondary School or ITI.
Additional Information
- Work schedule comprises six working days per week.
