Role Overview
The Marketing Communications Manager, reporting to the Director of Commercial Strategy, will be based at Mandarin Oriental, Doha within the Commercial Strategy Department. This role entails creating and executing coherent integrated marketing, communications, public relations, partnership, and branding strategies to enhance the hotel's market position, reputation, and commercial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement integrated marketing and communication strategies aligned with business goals and brand standards.
- Boost brand visibility, reputation, and positioning through media relations, content creation, partnerships, campaigns, and consumer marketing.
- Oversee public relations, including media inquiries, press visits, influencer collaborations, and agency management.
- Lead planning and execution of marketing campaigns, events, brand activations, and corporate social responsibility activities.
- Produce engaging content across communications channels ensuring consistent brand messaging and visual identity.
- Manage marketing performance reporting, budget oversight, campaign analysis, and annual marketing planning.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Revenue, Operations, Spa, and Food & Beverage teams to support revenue-oriented projects.
- Establish strategic partnerships to increase guest engagement, brand awareness, and market presence.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 to 7 years of experience in luxury hospitality, luxury retail, tourism, lifestyle brands, or agency settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in marketing communications, public relations, brand management, and partnership cultivation.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Strong understanding of luxury hospitality markets, affluent travel segments, and brand storytelling.
- Experience managing media relations, agencies, events, sponsorships, and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Proven leadership, project management, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality Management, or Business Administration.
