About the Role
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Maintenance Engineer to join a distinguished bespoke manufacturer located in the Plymouth area. Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PPMs) to ensure equipment efficiency.
- Promptly address and resolve machinery breakdowns to minimize downtime on site.
- Conduct detailed fault diagnosis on various machines to identify and rectify problems.
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety standards while fostering a positive safety culture.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives with a direct impact on manufacturing processes.
- Installation and maintenance of single-phase and three-phase electrical motors.
- Demonstrate flexibility in working hours as required.
- Apply knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles in daily operations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of two years professional experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
- Preferably trained through an apprenticeship program.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination.
- Experience working as a multi-skilled engineer capable of handling diverse maintenance tasks.
