F&B Service Expert (Waiter / Waitress)

Position Overview

At Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Doha, Qatar, we are recruiting an F&B Service Expert to provide exceptional dining service beyond simply serving food and beverages. This role is vital for creating memorable and personalized guest experiences by skillfully managing various service aspects from table setup to guest interactions and maintaining cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and arrange dining areas by setting tables to meet restaurant standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
• Engage with guests professionally to deliver high-quality service and fulfill their dining needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of workspaces and equipment.
• Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• Adhere to uniform and personal appearance standards to uphold the brand image.
• Physically handle tasks including standing, walking on varied surfaces, and moving or lifting items up to 25 pounds independently or up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned to support the team and enhance guest satisfaction.

Candidate Qualifications

• Must possess at least a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of experience in a related field is acceptable.
• No previous supervisory experience is required for this position.
• No specific license or certification is necessary.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position requires being physically active, including extended periods of standing, walking, and maneuvering on various surfaces, as well as occasional lifting and carrying of objects.
