Role Overview
Pearson Carter is collaborating with a Microsoft Partner experiencing significant growth in their internal technology division. They are seeking an accomplished Engineering Manager to oversee their software development teams and guide the evolution of their technology platforms, with a focus on expansion into new industries and recent major projects in the US and France.
Key Responsibilities and Experience
- Lead and manage software engineering teams within a modern product-driven company.
- Apply extensive expertise in C# and .NET software development.
- Design and oversee software architecture and system design efforts.
- Develop cloud-native applications and ensure scalable web and API platform performance.
- Implement best practices concerning security, system reliability, performance, and operations.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to engineering staff with strong people management abilities.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and engage with business stakeholders.
- Enforce engineering standards, best practices, and improve delivery workflows.
- Utilize strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Approach technical challenges with pragmatic problem-solving and decision-making.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Knowledge of AI-supported software development methodologies.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics platforms and business applications.
- Background in ERP, CRM, hospitality, leisure, property management, or vertical SaaS sectors.
- Proficiency with Azure cloud-hosted platforms and services.
- Familiarity with mobile app development and digital products targeting customers.
- Track record of establishing architecture governance and engineering standards.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps, continuous integration/deployment pipelines, and automated testing.
Compensation and Benefits
