Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply utility locating methods, safety protocols, and equipment operation
- Gain knowledge of local utility infrastructure and relevant regulatory guidelines
- Work alongside experienced Utility Locators to identify and mark underground utilities
- Operate specialized utility locating equipment in various environments and weather conditions
- Record and report findings using digital mapping tools
Candidate Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to legally work in the United States for this employer
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Valid non-provisional State driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
Physical and Work Environment Expectations
- Regularly work independently in remote areas performing activities such as lifting up to 55 pounds, bending, standing, walking, using fine motor skills, and operating vehicles
- Occasionally perform tasks that require climbing stairs, working in confined spaces, and using portable ladders
Additional Information
The compensation range for this position is $20 to $22 per hour.
