Shopify Developer

Role Overview

18 Pixels is hiring a full-time Shopify Developer for its Lucknow office. The company works across web development, eCommerce, digital transformation, and custom software, building scalable digital products for clients in different industries. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating, tailoring, and improving Shopify stores with a strong focus on user experience and overall business results.

Responsibilities

• Build, tailor, and support Shopify websites and themes.
• Develop responsive eCommerce experiences that are easy to use.
• Add custom functionality using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.
• Set up and manage third-party apps, payment methods, and shipping integrations.
• Improve site performance, loading speed, and search visibility.
• Investigate technical issues and resolve them promptly.
• Work closely with designers, project managers, and clients to deliver work on schedule.
• Follow strong coding standards and maintain high-quality output.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• At least 2.5 years of hands-on Shopify development experience.
• Strong command over Shopify theme building and customization.
• Solid working knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience using Shopify APIs and integrating external services.
• Good understanding of eCommerce workflows and industry best practices.
• Comfort with version control tools such as Git.
• Strong analytical thinking and debugging ability.
• Clear communication and client interaction skills.

Preferred Experience

The following would be an advantage: experience with Shopify Plus, custom Shopify app development, headless commerce setups, and working on international client projects.
