About the role
A leading civil engineering contractor in Ireland is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support a broad mix of projects across North and South Dublin. The portfolio includes residential infrastructure, deep basement excavations for high-rise developments, data centre projects, and some main contracting work on pharmaceutical plants.
Core duties
- Handle quantity surveying tasks across multiple live projects.
- Prepare and manage tender submissions.
- Carry out cost analysis and produce commercial reports.
- Complete valuations and assess progress claims.
Requirements
- Previous experience on civil engineering projects in Ireland or the UK.
- A qualification in Construction or Quantity Surveying is required.
- Strong ability to work to demanding deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Competence with IT systems, including Cubit, Cost-ex or a similar package, plus Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Willingness to take part in training and build further technical knowledge, methods, and skills.
- Capability to coordinate several projects at once.
- Good understanding of construction procedures, methodology, and specifications.
Compensation
The salary range is €75,000 to €85,000, depending on experience, along with a benefits package.
