Python / Django Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Python/Django Developer with 1 to 7 years of experience to create scalable backend systems and web applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in Python and the Django framework, supplemented by a solid grasp of web development principles and database management.

Primary Duties

• Develop, test, and manage web applications utilizing Python and Django.
• Design and build robust backend architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend teams and interact with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when necessary.
• Enhance application performance and ensure scalability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA and product management.
• Identify and resolve bugs and issues throughout the application stack.
• Develop reusable, efficient, and well-tested code.
• Enforce security standards and data protection policies.
• Engage in code reviews to uphold best coding methodologies.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Advanced proficiency in Python programming.
• Practical experience with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Basic competencies in frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Proficiency with Git version control systems.
• Awareness of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
