Position Overview

This opportunity is for a Software Engineer Expert working on remote contract engagements with compensation in the range of $40 to $50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Develop MCP servers in Python with FastMCP.
• Connect web or desktop applications to RL Studio.
• Use APIs, Docker, Linux, and service setup/configuration in daily work.
• Add populate and snapshot hooks to manage application state.
• Run applications locally and troubleshoot build, runtime, and permission-related issues.
• Confirm that applications satisfy validation checks and deployment standards.

Requirements

• Advanced Python programming ability.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, backend systems, and debugging.
• Comfort working with Docker, Linux, and local test environments.
• Ability to manage configuration files and deployment pipelines.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to technical accuracy.
• Prior exposure to FastMCP or a comparable framework is preferred.
• Experience integrating third-party applications or developer tooling is preferred.
• Familiarity with web applications, databases, and containerized setups is preferred.
