Job description
Position Overview
The Over-the-Counter Associate plays a vital role in assisting customers within the retail pharmacy setting by ensuring the department is properly maintained and offering excellent service. This role supports the OTC Department Manager and Pharmacy Manager by organizing the designated area, managing inventory, and upholding the store’s core values and privacy standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Respect and uphold patient confidentiality in accordance with the Privacy Act.
- Work towards increasing department sales and profitability under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager.
- Conduct regular stock rotation and monitor products for expiration.
- Maintain and zone the department effectively to ensure a clean and organized presentation.
- Adhere to established procedures for ordering, price adjustments, clearances, and product labeling.
- Keep the department area free from clutter, debris, and hazards to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Maintain accuracy with pricing to prevent errors, utilizing scanning protocols.
- Perform calibration of equipment involved in prescription processing.
Compensation
This position offers a starting hourly wage of $17.75.
Minimum Requirements
