Role overview
This is a remote, hourly contract opportunity based in Canada. The expected workload is around 30 to 40 hours per week.
What you will do
- Examine live network data from sources such as logs, configuration files, telemetry, and event streams.
- Identify and categorize network patterns, incidents, and unusual behavior.
- Assist in defining data schemas and organizing structures for large-scale pipeline development.
- Work with time-series measurements and network events to ensure accurate labeling and annotation.
- Coordinate directly with client-side teams on infrastructure-related tasks and data processes.
- Support the creation of datasets used for AI-based autonomous networking solutions.
What the client is looking for
- Hands-on background in enterprise network engineering.
- Practical experience with networking hardware and systems such as switches, wireless access points, and firewalls.
- Ability to make sense of logs, events, and time-series performance data.
