About the Role
An analytical and inquisitive Junior Data Analyst is needed to join the team in the United Kingdom. The position focuses on converting raw information into practical insights that support better business decisions. You will collaborate with senior analysts and stakeholders to gather, clean, interpret, and present data. This opportunity suits someone who is proactive, enjoys solving problems, and wants to build stronger analytical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare raw datasets by cleaning, organizing, and checking them for accuracy before analysis.
- Build and update interactive dashboards with business intelligence tools.
- Study data trends and patterns to support improvement in business performance.
- Use SQL to pull information from relational databases.
- Produce recurring weekly and monthly reports, along with ad-hoc performance summaries as needed.
Qualifications
- A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science is required.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Basic SQL skills for database querying.
- Exposure to visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain insights clearly to stakeholders.
