About the Role
Progressive is seeking experienced Backside Pump Operators to join their team in the United Arab Emirates. This full-time, onsite position involves operating specialized pumping equipment for well intervention operations. The role requires a strong understanding of pumping systems and a commitment to safety and operational excellence in challenging field environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate backside pumping units and associated pumping equipment.
- Monitor pump rates, pressures, and job parameters throughout operations.
- Assist in the setup and dismantling of pumping spreads and surface equipment.
- Conduct regular maintenance and pre/post-job checks on equipment.
- Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Maintain precise job logs and operational records.
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and field crews on site.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of direct experience in backside pumping operations.
- Previous experience in well intervention is considered advantageous.
- A thorough understanding of pumping systems, valves, and pressure control equipment is essential.
- Must be capable of working effectively in demanding field and remote settings.
- Possess strong communication and teamwork abilities.
