Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Workshop Controller to join the team at Audi North Dublin, located near Exit 5 M50, Dublin North. This role involves assisting with the management of service and repair operations within the workshop to drive service sales and maximize profitability.
Responsibilities
- Manage the workshop by efficiently operating the work loading system.
- Promote and sell additional value-added products through effective communication with customers, technicians, and colleagues.
- Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and due diligence in all tasks.
- Oversee the work loading process and accurately record and document repairs performed on customer vehicles.
Candidate Requirements
- Preferably a qualified technician or mechanic with relevant certifications.
- Fluency in English with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
- Excellent persuasion skills and managerial capabilities.
- Previous experience in the automotive industry and aftersales environment.
- In-depth mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with the Kerridge system is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Possession of a full, clean EU or Irish driving licence is strictly required.
- Eligibility to work full time in the EU is required.
