Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Runner to join our team as soon as possible onboard our cruise vessels. Your key duties will involve handling and maintaining event technology equipment, ensuring smooth show and event operations, and collaborating closely with entertainment and other onboard departments.
Responsibilities
- Operate and manage event technology including lighting, sound, and stage equipment.
- Execute technical aspects of shows, events, and rehearsals.
- Ensure the seamless running of all event-related activities.
- Maintain and inspect technical equipment regularly.
- Document any malfunctions and assist with inventory management.
- Work collaboratively with entertainment teams and other professional units onboard.
Requirements
- Professional training in electrical engineering, event technology, or equivalent technical qualification, or substantial experience as a stage, lighting, or sound technician.
- Confident handling of technical systems and event equipment.
- Organized, responsible, and team-focused work ethic.
- Proficient in English; German language skills are a plus.
