Our client is a premier technical specialist distributor focusing on industrial maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) products and services. They uniquely offer a 'single source' supply of some of the world's top brands, managing an inventory of over 4 million product lines and stocking millions of items at any given moment.
Role Summary
This position for a Stores Support Coordinator will be based at the Carrigtwohill site in County Cork and will report directly to the Site Operations Manager. The role involves active participation within the stores and warehouse environment, supporting the smooth operational flow of stock and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain stock levels of fast-moving items on the customer site through timely replenishment.
- Provide comprehensive support to the Site Operations Manager with various operational requests.
- Manage stock ordering, receipt, and cycle counting activities within the stores.
- Operate forklifts safely to assist warehouse functions.
- Carry out warehouse duties including collecting parts from local suppliers.
- Perform general administrative tasks as required by the onsite team.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are upheld at all times.
- Manage customer orders end-to-end from enquiry to delivery.
- Load purchase orders into the site systems and expedite procurement of goods, materials, and services to fulfill service requirements.
- Keep inventory records accurate and up-to-date within the ERP systems.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support health and safety compliance on site.
- Promote clean and organized housekeeping practices in the workplace.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Must hold a full Irish driving licence.
- In-depth knowledge of MRO and engineering consumables product ranges.
- Strong communication abilities with good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Methodical, organized, and able to perform well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Valid forklift operator license required.
- Familiarity with stock management/ERP systems.
- High attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel; strong IT literacy essential.
