Senior Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior Engineer within the newly established UK Regional Team at Xero, you will be pivotal in delivering key features critical to the company’s success in the UK market. Your efforts will be centered around addressing customer needs and ensuring the product aligns perfectly with UK-specific business objectives to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will independently tackle complex issues across various Xero products, balancing regional requirements with global development roadmaps to maximize impact and value.

Team Structure and Collaboration

You will be part of a dynamic team comprising an Engineering Manager, Lead Engineers, and fellow Engineers, reporting to the General Manager of Engineering UK. The team is versatile and collaborative, engaging with multiple product owners across the organization to design, develop, and deploy solutions.

Projects and Exposure

The team’s work spans Xero’s diverse product suite, including Payments, Accounting, and Payroll, providing broad exposure and the chance to contribute to multiple areas of the platform.

Work Environment
