Job description

About Fluence

Fluence (Nasdaq: FLNC) is a global leader in delivering intelligent energy storage and optimization software for renewable energy and storage systems. With successful implementations spanning nearly 50 markets and gigawatts of capacity, Fluence is driving a more resilient grid and maximizing renewable portfolio potential, fostering a sustainable future.

Role Overview

We are seeking an AI Specialist, also known as a Vibe Coder, to act as a rapid development driver within Fluence's Go-To-Market Technology and Automation team. This position involves designing and configuring AI agents, prototyping automation workflows, crafting Salesforce Flow logic, and delivering operational proofs-of-concept swiftly, often within days. This role bridges AI tools, low-code platforms, and commercial operations, collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing teams to transform workflow concepts into adopted automations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and refine Agentforce agents that assist sales processes including account briefs, proposal support, and recommendations for next best actions.
  • Create and maintain Salesforce Flow automations to reduce manual processes, enforce lifecycle policies, and provide timely alerts to sales representatives and managers.
  • Develop rapid prototypes of AI-based automation solutions for stakeholder evaluation, aiming for completion within one to three days.
  • Collaborate with third-party implementation partners, offering AI domain expertise to guide implementation and configuration decisions.
  • Produce internal resources and support tools such as prompt guides, workflow documentation, quick-start assistants, and embedded help content.
  • Continuously assess and integrate new large language model (LLM) and AI agent features to enhance business operations with governed and valuable improvements.
  • Work with IT teams to ensure security compliance, data governance, and smooth deployment of AI-powered workflows.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams for discovery and validation of automation requirements and delivered solutions matching real-world workflows.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Over three years of practical experience with Salesforce automation tools, including Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, or similar declarative platforms.
  • Proven experience working with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or AI agent frameworks—having built AI agents or automated workflows with language models.
  • Ability to rapidly develop and deliver functioning prototypes; a track record of completed projects is valued above formal certifications.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with non-technical commercial stakeholders to gather requirements and verify solutions.
  • Strong familiarity with B2B commercial sales processes such as lead management, opportunity tracking, pipeline oversight, and proposal workflows.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data security and governance related to AI systems, including prompt injection mitigation, data access controls, and audit logging.

Additional Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Agentforce or Einstein Copilot agent setup.
  • Knowledge of Gong, Demandbase, or similar go-to-market (GTM) platforms and integration methods.
  • Experience collaborating with third-party implementation partners following sprint-based project delivery.
  • Background in industries such as energy, infrastructure, industrial SaaS, or complex B2B settings is advantageous.

Company Culture

Fluence fosters a culture grounded in four pillars:

  • Unleash Voices: Promoting openness, active listening, and decisive action to ensure all voices contribute to success and innovation.
  • Customer Fluent: Centering customers in every action, adapting quickly to meet their needs while delivering exceptional value.
  • Infinite Impact: Challenging boundaries to create sustainable, transformative energy solutions with lasting effects.
  • All In: Embracing ownership and relentless growth, seizing opportunities to accelerate success.

Fluence is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds without discrimination. Employment decisions do not consider race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, gender identity or expression, genetic information, or other protected statuses.
