About the Role
This position is focused on leading electrical engineering projects through both design and construction stages. The role requires keeping the work aligned with project goals, delivery schedules, and quality expectations, while also ensuring safe execution, efficient operations, and completion of high-standard facilities on time.
Engineering Project Management
- Create project charters and detailed plans that define scope, objectives, timelines, budget, and required resources.
- Engage with stakeholders and keep communication active across the full project lifecycle.
- Track progress against milestones, risks, and key performance indicators.
- Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure work follows approved plans, timelines, budgets, and applicable standards.
- Assess change requests and determine their effect on scope, cost, and schedule.
- Support a clean project closeout and handover, including permits, documentation, and operational readiness.
Technical Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate designs related to power distribution, lighting, ELV, ICT, and airport electrical systems.
- Observe installation, testing, and commissioning activities for electrical systems.
- Verify that all work meets electrical codes, project specifications, and required standards.
- Work with contractors and consultants to address issues arising from design or construction.
- Examine technical submittals, electrical calculations, and shop drawings.
Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Comply with all relevant policies, internal procedures, and standard operating practices.
- Assist in resolving escalated matters and provide support whenever needed.
- Refer complex issues to the appropriate authority for further action.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of power distribution and lighting systems.
- Familiarity with testing and commissioning processes.
- Ability to review technical drawings and related documents.
- Experience in project coordination and stakeholder management.
