Role Overview
We seek a Product Manager to lead the growth and success of our AI-driven workflow automation engine specifically designed for grant processes, with potential expansion to other products. This role requires a proactive builder and promoter rather than merely managing a backlog. You will become the foremost expert outside engineering, using the product hands-on daily and expanding its adoption within the organisation with a strong agency mindset. Responsibilities include discovering usage scenarios, engaging users, conducting demonstrations, facilitating workshops, unblocking teams, and relaying insights to guide product development priorities. Over time, you will also manage additional products and identify emerging opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive expertise of the workflow automation engine, executing grant workflows, onboarding new users, and providing guidance and troubleshooting.
- Empathize with diverse teams to uncover automation needs before they arise and translate insights into actionable product enhancements.
- Implement innovative strategies to increase product usage, including clinics, workshops, demos, playbooks, and creative engagement tactics to foster ongoing adoption.
- Manage relationships across departments by collaborating with outreach, acquisition, and business teams to identify valid use cases, demonstrate the product, and build organizational trust without direct authority.
- Communicate field learnings to engineering, prioritizing features that boost adoption and enabling engineers to focus on building impactful solutions.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to refine AI-based product functionalities, ensuring practical value and identifying limitations.
- Expand product portfolio by taking on new offerings, validating potential ideas, and shaping emerging solutions.

- Proven experience managing and growing a product or platform with diverse users and stakeholders without direct control.

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, adept at demonstrating products and persuading cross-departmental teams to adopt solutions.
- Creative approach to product growth with willingness to experiment with new adoption strategies.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant product management experience or equivalent in managing products serving varied user groups.
