About the role
UniSuper is seeking a Client Services Coordinator to support its Advice team in Adelaide or Hobart. The position is focused on helping advisers deliver accurate, timely outcomes for members while contributing to a smooth and professional client experience.
This role places you close to the end-to-end advice journey. You will assist with the preparation of advice documents, coordinate with external fund providers and platforms, and help put recommendations into effect. In addition, you will support members directly, including in-person enquiries, and handle a mix of coordination, administration, and problem-solving tasks.
The opportunity is well suited to someone looking to grow a career in financial planning, with exposure across the full advice process and a collaborative environment that supports learning and development.
Key responsibilities
- Help advisers prepare advice documentation, application forms, and other client-facing materials.
- Carry out advice recommendations with accuracy and efficiency.
- Work with external superannuation funds and investment platforms to progress applications and verify information.
- Serve as a contact point for members, including face-to-face support.
- Keep client files, records, and workflow systems organised and up to date.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with compliance and regulatory obligations.
- Handle general office coordination and other administrative duties as required.
About you
The ideal candidate has some exposure to financial planning, superannuation, tax, or another financial services environment, and is ready to develop a stronger understanding of advice fundamentals. A proactive attitude, openness to feedback, and a genuine willingness to learn are essential.
You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting and supporting multiple stakeholders at once.
Work arrangement
This is an onsite position, with the expectation that you will spend 60% of your time in the office. The role is based in either Adelaide or Hobart.
Benefits
- A personal development allowance of $1,500 to support your professional growth.
- Community, Culture & Wellbeing leave.
- Initiatives that support mental, physical, and financial wellbeing.
Diversity and inclusion
UniSuper values a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourages applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to apply, even if they do not meet every listed requirement.
