Job description
Job Overview
The role of Chemist involves conducting comprehensive chemical, microbiological, and physical testing from raw materials through to finished goods, adhering strictly to Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Carry out necessary chemical, microbiological, and physical analyses on incoming raw materials, including raw water, plastic resin colorants, and other sensitive materials, in accordance with QMS specifications.
- Ensure full compliance and implementation of the QMS plan in daily operations.
- Support the quality head by providing all essential data required for product release procedures.
- Conduct training sessions for operators and technicians on how to perform basic analyses and tests relevant to their work areas.
- Manage all paperwork including preparation and maintenance of reports.
- Prepare receiving check reports that align with accurate product specifications.
- Report any abnormalities through notifications of quality deviations and initiate immediate corrective actions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline is mandatory.
- Proficiency in computer applications, especially MS Office suite, is required.
