Position Overview
We are seeking a Utility Worker to join our team in Pompano Beach, FL. This full-time onsite role involves maintaining cleanliness in kitchen areas and supporting kitchen operations, directly reporting to the General Manager. The position requires a commitment to excellent customer service, representing both the client and NEXDINE Hospitality positively.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment or manually wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Keep kitchen workspaces, utensils, and equipment clean and orderly.
- Receive deliveries, properly organize inventory and stock.
- Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking tools appropriately.
- Manage waste by sorting and disposing of trash in designated areas.
- Clean and rotate inventory in the walk-in cooler.
- Assist with food preparation as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Chef Manager.
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Dependability and strong work ethic.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Successful completion of a Level 2 background check aligned with Florida Agency for Health Care Administration HB531.
