Role Overview

The Task Associate plays a vital role in maintaining operational excellence to support sales objectives and deliver an exceptional shopping experience for guests. Responsibilities include stocking merchandise displays, upholding store cleanliness, and completing various operational tasks under the guidance of the Merchandise and Operations Managers. This role demands keen attention to detail and adherence to company procedures and standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive the achievement of store sales goals by ensuring timely task execution and product availability.
• Achieve compliance and operation targets related to task dashboard, handling shipment and replenishment processes, merchandise arrangements, inventory counts, and procedural adherence.
• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
• Foster an inclusive workplace that supports colleagues and guests alike.
• Engage proactively in ongoing training programs to enhance brand knowledge and promote professional growth and sales effectiveness.
• Comply with all Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and standards, including dress code adherence.
• Perform merchandise resets, planogram implementations, marketing display setups, inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and best practices.
• Ensure operational excellence by keeping assigned areas replenished, clearly signed, well-faced, with testers readily accessible.
• Maintain outstanding store cleanliness across sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break areas.
• Safeguard company assets by practicing loss prevention techniques and delivering excellent guest service.
• Complete additional operational tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• At least one year of relevant work experience or a comparable combination of education and experience is favored.
• Comfortable using basic technology such as Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Frequent movement throughout the store during shifts including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Regular lifting, carrying, and moving items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Continuous coordination and manual handling of materials throughout shifts.
