Role Overview
This position entails designing, developing, and supporting scalable micro platforms that underpin key business functions. The Software Engineer will collaborate across multiple teams to create high-performance distributed system solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable micro platforms.
- Develop and refine backend services using contemporary software development methodologies.
- Work closely with DevOps teams for smooth deployment and monitoring processes.
- Produce clean, well-documented, and testable code adhering to engineering best practices.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges within distributed system environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Over five years of backend software engineering experience.
- Expertise in programming languages like Go, Python, Java, or equivalents.
- Solid knowledge of microservices design and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery pipelines alongside infrastructure automation tools including Terraform and Ansible.
