About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in full stack development, passionate about the fintech industry, and eager to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will join our Singapore-based engineering team, working on multiple projects across diverse technologies and collaborating with various teams.
Reporting directly to the Software Engineering Lead, you will blend a startup's agility with the robustness of a global industry leader. Your focus will be on developing and enhancing our core platform and services, ensuring scalability and performance, creating new features, and streamlining development through automation.
Responsibilities
- Develop highly available API-driven services, building both client-side and server-side software.
- Engage in the design, development, and deployment of new products for internal and external users.
- Produce high-quality, secure, scalable, testable, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Adopt and promote agile methodologies including code reviews, sprint planning, pair programming, and daily stand-ups.
- Contribute to evaluating new technologies and initiatives to improve the development process.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- A degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred.
- A self-driven software engineer with strong curiosity and eagerness to learn continuously.
- Proficient in Golang (mandatory) and familiar with scripting languages such as Perl and Python.
- Experience with front-end development using HTML/CSS and JavaScript, particularly VueJS or similar frameworks.
- Hands-on knowledge of relational databases.
- Enthusiasm for Agile practices such as Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD).
- Experienced in designing and implementing full stack web and API solutions.
- Keen interest in fintech trends and innovations.
Technical Environment
