The Operations Associate, specifically an Attraction Ride Operator, is tasked with overseeing the complete functioning of a ride or attraction, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests and colleagues. This role demands attention during extended shifts, multitasking skills, team leadership capabilities, and safe operation of heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct proper start-up and shut-down procedures for rides and attractions.
• Manage and organize guest queues efficiently.
• Perform accurate height measurements for guests.
• Prepare ride platforms for operations.
• Distribute, explain, and assist guests with ride safety apparel.
• Oversee safe and smooth loading and unloading of guests.
• Inspect ride restraints and safety equipment to guarantee guest safety and comfort.
• Check fire safety equipment, emergency exits, and evacuation routes.
• Maintain effective communication with guests, coworkers, and management.
• Confidently use ride stop and emergency stop mechanisms when necessary.
• Create a fun, memorable experience for every guest.
• Manage ride opening and closing procedures.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations.
• Keep detailed records of daily ride operations, including downtime and throughput.
• Ensure daily operational records are accurate, tidy, and updated.
• Lead responses to ride downtimes and emergencies as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work environment.
• Remain focused during long periods of standing and varying guest volumes.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support business operations.
