Role Summary
We seek a seasoned Mainframe Developer who has strong practical expertise in IMS DC, COBOL, and JCL to join our teams based in Mumbai, Chennai, or Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-level Mainframe applications with deep knowledge of IMS DC transaction management and COBOL-based systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, maintain, and provide support for enterprise Mainframe applications
- Manage transaction processing using IMS DC
- Work extensively with COBOL and JCL for application development and batch processing
- Diagnose and resolve production issues through thorough analysis and root cause identification
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe technologies
- Mandatory expertise in IMS DC
- Strong proficiency in COBOL programming
- Comprehensive experience using JCL
- Working knowledge of IMS DB and/or DB2 databases
- Familiarity with VSAM data sets
- Experience with CICS is advantageous
- Skilled in debugging and troubleshooting complex Mainframe applications
Additional Information
Candidates lacking hands-on IMS DC experience will not be considered suitable. The position requires 7 to 12 years of relevant Mainframe development experience. This role is positioned in Chennai, with opportunities also in Mumbai and Bangalore. Applicants must hold at least a graduate degree.

Bachelor's Degree
