FP&A Analyst

Role overview

H2 Health is looking for a detail-oriented Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join its Finance function. This is a full-time remote position for someone who can turn financial and operational data into practical insights that support leadership decisions. The role includes forecasting, modeling, reporting, and business analysis, along with regular collaboration across departments.

The position is remote anywhere in the United States, with occasional travel to the company’s headquarters in the Jacksonville, Florida area. It is well suited to someone who enjoys solving complex business questions, working with large data sets, and contributing in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities.
• Create, update, and maintain financial models that support business decision-making.
• Review operational and financial results to spot trends and performance patterns.
• Prepare variance analysis and materials for executive-level reporting.
• Build dashboards and reporting tools that improve visibility into financial performance.
• Work with operational leaders to identify opportunities for efficiency and expansion.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis for strategic projects and acquisitions.
• Use technology and AI-enabled tools to streamline reporting and analysis processes.
• Partner closely with Accounting, Operations, Revenue Cycle, and Executive Leadership teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 to 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, business analytics, accounting, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling and scenario analysis.
• Excellent quantitative thinking, analysis, and problem-solving ability.
• Experience working with large data sets and converting data into business recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information to different audiences.
• Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

Preferred background

• Experience in healthcare services.
• Exposure to multi-site organizations or private equity-backed businesses.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct or business intelligence tools.
• Awareness of AI-powered productivity and reporting solutions.
