FP&A Analyst

Role overview

H2 Health is hiring a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join its expanding Finance function. This full-time remote position is based within the United States and may require occasional travel to the company headquarters near Jacksonville, Florida. The role focuses on using financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting to support business decisions and guide strategic planning across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning cycles.
• Create and update financial models that inform business decisions.
• Review operational and financial results to identify trends and performance patterns.
• Prepare variance analyses and materials for executive reporting.
• Design dashboards and reporting tools that improve financial visibility.
• Work with operational leaders to uncover growth and efficiency opportunities.
• Carry out ad hoc financial analysis for strategic projects and acquisitions.
• Use technology and AI-enabled tools to streamline reporting and analytical processes.
• Partner with Accounting, Operations, Revenue Cycle, and Executive Leadership teams.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 to 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, business analytics, accounting, or another analytical function.
• Advanced Excel capability, including financial modeling and scenario-based analysis.
• Strong quantitative thinking, analytical ability, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Experience handling large datasets and converting them into business-relevant insights.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to present financial information to varied audiences.
• Comfort working in a collaborative and fast-moving environment.

Preferred background

• Experience in healthcare services.
• Background in multi-site organizations or private equity-backed businesses.
• Exposure to Sage Intacct or business intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with AI-driven productivity and reporting solutions.
