About the Role
A leading private investment group is in search of an experienced Finance Director to spearhead the institutionalization and strategic financial management across its diverse asset portfolio. This vital leadership position demands a finance expert skilled in managing Real Estate investments while overseeing operational finances of expanding subsidiaries.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead financial aspects of Real Estate transactions including capital structuring, overseeing Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), and conducting thorough financial due diligence for major acquisitions and development projects.
- Advance the finance function's transformation to meet international institutional standards by driving IFRS compliance, standardizing reporting across the group, and implementing efficient monthly financial close processes.
- Manage and analyze the financial performance and valuation metrics of a multi-sector portfolio, delivering insightful reports on Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Present Value (NPV), and capital allocation effectiveness to the Board.
- Oversee treasury operations and debt strategies by maintaining strategic relationships with regional banks for project financing, debt origination, and overall liquidity management.
- Provide high-level financial leadership over the group’s global operational platforms ensuring working capital efficiency and enforcing stringent financial controls.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 12 years in senior financial leadership roles, particularly within Investment Firms, Holdings, Private Equity, or Real Estate Investment sectors.
- Proven success in structuring and executing large-scale Real Estate investment transactions.
- Experienced in transforming finance departments to institutional standards within private or family-owned organizations.
- Native fluency in Arabic is essential, coupled with the ability to conduct board-level negotiations and discussions proficiently in both Arabic and English.
- Professional accreditation such as CA, CPA, or CFA is mandatory.
